Our handmade – from start to finish – bespoke leather sandals are not mass-produced. There can be no mass production, for sandals individualized to the needs of each customer. For this reason, they are meant for true lovers of handcrafted quality leather sandals. The process of making handmade and bespoke sandals, offers great pleasure to the sandal maker and it is a unique experience for the well-informed buyer.

The Features of Our Sandals
Unisex Sandals:
Most of our classic vegetable-tanned-leather sandals -inspired by ancient Greece -are unisex, except for the “Gallico” and “Minoan” styles, which, due to their elegance, are considered more feminine, but they are also, occasionally, bought by men.
Comfort:
We make the sandals comfortable by adjusting them to your feet and by shaving off all the corners of the leather straps that might dig into your skin.
Also, the natural leathers we use, always stretch out with time and mold to your feet, resulting in them becoming really comfortable. The soles of our sandals have leather on the top part and rubber on the bottom. The rubber part absorbs the shock of stepping on hard surfaces and makes the sandals less slippery.
The Breathability of our Leathers:
We use vegetable tanned leathers, ie completely natural leathers which let your feet breathe and over time, they acquire a nice dark color.
Sandal Purchase:
You can buy your sandals yourself, in our workshop, where we adjust them to your feet, or through friends, who must give us the exact measurements of your feet.
Ways of buying our sandals & the reasons we do not sell online:
You can either buy my sandals in person, at the store, (so that I adjust them perfectly to your feet) or through a friend or relative, visiting Athens, (make sure they’ve got your right
measurements). In the mean time I am trying to find a solution to the two basic problems that prevent me from selling my sandals over the internet, without compromising the quality of the sandals.
THE THREE REASONS OUR SANDALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON LINE:
1st REASON:
My hand-crafted sandals as products of love and personal joy combined with quality are not mass-produced for speedy delivery to customers. I only feel satisfied when I see the sandals I create perfectly fitted to each individual’s feet. All people’s feet are not the same, so I often have to get measurements and re-adjust the sandal straps for a perfect fit, right on the spot.
2nd REASON:
As I mentioned above sandals have to be fitted to individual feet for comfort! So, I strongly believe that buying sandals or clothes over the internet is like buying a “pig in a poke”.
3rd REASON:
My true reward (believe it or not) is my happy faced customers, who buy my bespoke sandals and tell me that my inimitable shop, with its upbeat and colorful atmosphere has been the highlight of their trip.
I am afraid that I am an incurably romantic person, who strongly believes that the essence of an individual’s being is found in the honest, kind and unpretentious, daily joys of life and after all, that’s what I preach through my art and poetry as well.
